Okay, I get asked this alot from people looking to book photographers who are looking to walk away with prints, not CDs. I thought since I have the ability to answer this question to a wider range of people I would take the chance to explain myself: I love pictures, not just the pretty posed ones that you blow up and hang on the wall, but all pictures. I love the one from our wedding of me shoving a boiled peanut in my mouth and the one of my dad acting silly and giving my husband a big hug. I love the pictures I take randomly of my little girl making her "cheese face" and of my mother-in-law making the "no more pictures please" face. I love those pictures, the one I took just last week of a little girl playing on a bouncy horse is a good example. Those aren't the type of pictures you pay the money to order from a professional print company but the ones you print when walgreen is having a $.10 a print sale (by the way check their photo website this week is seven days of deals). Those are the pictures all over my fridge and bullentin board and those are the ones that make me smile. So, I ramble, but if I uploaded all your photos to a professional print site for you to order what you like, budgets often demand that those are the ones you don't get to order because they won't make good Christmas cards, or Grandma might not like it in a frame on her mantel. I don't want to make you choose, so I give you all of them. That's right, all. Not ten of the ones I think make me look the best, but all. But, for those who really have to have the professional prints I offer this to all my paying clients, I give you the CD and let you choose the ones you want professionally printed and give you the price list. I do not however upload you photos to an online ordering gallery because that cost the photographer money up front which makes the prices of photos go up as well and I still feel that they are yur pictures so you should get your CD that you paid for. Thank you for reading my ramblings! Happy Photos!
*I do now offer professional prints, fine art processing and albums to my clients but that does not take away the CD and copyright I have always offered!
